Greetings:

I'd like to report some minor Mac OOo 2.0r3 issues which might be bugs. For me it it appears that Courier 12 font antialiasing doesn't seem to work or at least not as overtly smooth in Mac OOo 2.0r3 as it is in NeoWrite. Also, this is an odd one: neither can I turn the Courier fonts of a NeoO screenplay doc opened in Mac OOo 2.0 bold. There's no Bold effect. It works on new Mac OOo documents but not my NeoO import. Might it to do with paragraph styles in different color styles?

I'm also seeking OOo friendly versions of Edwardian, Aristocrat, and Stencil fonts used in Mac applications but don't show up.

Thanks, and good work to the Mac OOo team!

Your fonts are most likely named different things (ever so slightly) in X11 vs Neo, so X11 can't find the font you're using and apply bold to it.

Anti-aliasing in X11 is really, really poor. If you want to mess around with your X11 installation, you can improve it somewhat by following Marc Liyanage's steps for installing a patched FreeType (not sure if the instructions work for 10.4 or not).

Thanks for the tip. I downloaded and unzipped the libfreetype-2.1.9-davidchesterpatch files but don't know how to file them thru Terminal from desktop. Though not a UNIX man, I can comfortably do the command-line thing (long owned an Amiga) so any directions how would be extremely appreciated and will use your name in a screenplay.
