Is there a way to position page numbers
aligned left for even numbered pages and
aligned right for odd no.s?

It is a while ago that I have been using this for reports. If I remembver correctly you need to set up Page Styles. To create new Page Styles
open the document in question. Open the Stylist and select the Page Styles view. Call the context menu of one of the Page Styles and select Left Page. Enter the relevant information. Then repeat the same for the Right Page. |

Thanks for the tip.
I followed the instructions but can't
get the style to apply.
It seems to want to format both left
and right pages the same way.

Make sure that your left page has 'right page' set as its "Next Page" in the Page Style>Organizer tab, and vice-versa. This (bizarrely, in my view) is not the default setting, which is that a left page should follow a left page... _________________ Ray Saunders
