Good morning,
I did downloaded the neooffice 2.0 beta 3 french but I am not able to install it to my computor (IBook tiger 10.4.6 2gh mimmo bank0512 667 mhz memoire 1gb It is installed on McHD the message is 55.6 (37.6go ? Can not install this on volume application folder required 30.1 There is a HD box red with a exclamation mark, no other message.
Please help me, I spent 3 hours yesterday trying and trying.

Louise claims that she's got 37.6 Go (GB) left, so disk space is not an issue, and the red exclamation mark does not always mean that there isn't enough disk space left, as far as I know.

Is that an error message you get ? Is it translated from French ? Is the humber "30.1" associated with the message (Patrick, is that why you think the installer believes there isn't enough space) ?
I've never encountered this before. It could mean that there is no /Applications folder on the target disk (an external drive without Mac OS X installed) - ?? Or, perhaps you downloaded the language pack only, and its installer can't find a copy of NeoOffice (a NeoOffice.app "folder") to install the language pack in ?

Samwise, you found the cause of the problem: the user is trying to install a language pack but has not yet installed NeoOffice.

You must download and install NeoOffice first. Then you can install a language pack.
