Where are custom keystroke assignments stored? I've made some custom keystroke assignments (Customize/Keyboard) to quickly execute macros in Writer, but I have NeoOffice on four machines and I'd like to duplicate these assignments on all of them without recreating them manually on each machine. What file(s) do I need to copy to the other machines so that the assignments will be functional on all of them?

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it is somewhere in

~/Library/Preferences/NeoOffice 2.x/User/config

This is based on the fact that I had to trash my config folder in preferences because of a corruption, and I lost my customized key commands.

I would further guess (and this is only a guess) that it is in the "swriter" folder burried several levels below that, but I couldn't clearly identify the exact file.

I've supplementary keyboard shorcuts from some software. For me, they are stored in a file named current.xml here :
~/Library/Preferences/NeoOffice-2.x/user/config/soffice.cfg/modules/swriter/accelator/fr
Of course, fr because Neo is in French on my machine.
Maybe you can check that. And perhaps the same paths for scalc, sdraw etc too.
Hope that helps.

You used to be able to export shortcuts to a file and import them to another Neo installation, but Sun removed that ability in 2.0 in favor of a more explicit ability to store them in individual documents Razz :/

Copying that xml file might (should) work...seems like a good avenue for exploration.

Thanks; you are both right.

The macros are in: ~/Library/Preferences/NeoOffice-2.x/user/basic/Standard

And the keystroke assignments are in: ~/Library/Preferences/NeoOffice-2.x/user/config/soffice.cfg/modules/swriter/accelator/en-US/config.xml

I copied these files to one of my other machines, and they now work exactly like the first one. Many thanks.

To the NeoOffice developers: would it be possible to make the names of these folders more descriptive in future versions? And thanks for an excellent piece of software.

Nope. These names are set by the OpenOffice.org.
