numbering and bullets

Is there a way to turn this auto feature off, and do it manually? For the entire page.

Yes, go to Format > AutoFormat and uncheck While Typing.

I "hate" this automatic formatting Wink

Try going to the Tools Menu, choosing AutoCorrect, selecting the "Options" tab and unchecking Apply Number - symbol:.

I'm not entirely certain that this will turn it off, but it is worth a try.

Also, if you want all autoformatting turned off, you can go to the Format menu, choose Autoformat and make sure all three options (or at least While Typing) is turned off.

You should get the typographical quotes on the keyboard. On the French keyboard there are key combinations: Opt-Ã¨ and Opt-Shift-Ã¨. You have something like that on the spanish keyboard. Open the Keyboard Viewer, I believe that Opt-3 and Opt-Shift-3 (3 on the keyboard, not on the numeric keypad) work.
So you can turn off the autoformatting and have the typographical quotes Very Happy
