No matter what I do in page setup, page layout, print options or anything else, I cannot get NeoOffice to print a file in Landscape format. I can PUT the file ITSELF into Landscape format, but in that case it will simply print out a page with the right half cut off. I also know of no substitues, such as rotating a page or typing text vertically.

Sounds like an old patched bug. Did you install the last patch of NeoOffice?

What version of NeoOfice are you running?
For what I have see during last weeks, with NeoOffice 2.1 EAP, the problem of printing landscape page appears only if the first page of a document is set as portrait.
This is a bug that Patrick is working.
If you need a landscape page, start your document with a Landscape page.

Agree with Valter. I learned this from bitter experience. The key is to go to Format > Page. Select the Page tab, and you will see the selections of Portrait and Landscape there. This is is the key. It is counter-intuitive for Mac users, because we are used to setting page setup or print settings from the File menu, and leaving everything else to follow suit. Have you tried this?
