Hello, I'd just like to report a problem I've noticed with the NeoOffice 2.1 Early Access build (PPC) that I downloaded yesterday (2/24/07). Whenever I try to export a document to PDF, if it has any text in it at all, the document will be blank. (Nothing, nada, zilch.) However, if I export a document with no text (for example, a Drawing with just an oval or something similar) the PDF will be produced.

I am on an iBook G4, 10.4.8. I've tried this with PostScript Type 1, TrueType, PC TrueType (.ttf), and OpenType PS fonts. None of them work.

Any ideas? This is a pretty nasty surprise, given that NeoOffice has worked so well for me in the past.

Works for me just fine. Can you file a bug in Bugzilla and, after you create the bug, attach a sample NeoOffice document that we can use to reproduce the bug and we will take a close look at it.

I'm experincing the same problem , but it seems related with opening the pdf in Acrobat Reader, since in Preview is perfectly visible.
I filed a bug (2187), but don't know if it can be claimed as bug...

Although closed as a duplicate, bug 2188 has samples to test and illustrate the problem

I have the same problem.

Double click to open in Adobe Reader 7.0.7 - error 109
Opens in Preview with a few font ligunature problems,
Preview In Path Finder, with same font problems

Seems like some Adobe .PDF header problems??

I'll attach to bug 2187

Philip ( time to find version problems, again! Wink )

Both PPC and Intel.
Exported pdf files can't be opened with acrobat.
They can be opened with Preview.
English text in Preview looks fine. Hebrew text becomes gibberish.

I tried the Mac Intel patch. It works fine for both english and hebrew text.
