Bonjour

http://www.neooffice.org/neojava/fr/download.php#download

_________________ Patrick G4 2x867, 2 Go, 10.4.11... |

Bonjour.

Why do I get the feeling that ... people are speaking a foreign language?
At least - It "looks" like questions are being answered. I hope?
Maybe I'm just feeling ... left out.
It seems things are going well. And "I" do appreciate it when we get small summaries in English for us who are "language impaired"
Note: Translations are NOT required - and don't have to be word-by-word translations.
It's just nice to know what problems are being addressed. Many MANY Thanks to our crack team of multi-language Neo community supporters.
You are the ... BEST!

Sorry, Philip.
This thread started out as a pretty simple and French-specific question, which I was confident our francophone members could answer, so I didn't see a "need" to translate/summarize it.
If one of us doesn't have time to provide an English summary, you can always drop it into Babelfish. Not perfect, but better than I would have expected. I will confess that I used it for an initial rough translation of Pierre's first post. Much quicker than doing it by hand, and I could easily fix the inaccuracies and awkward English.
In any event, back to this thread. The original poster asked about what was necessary to set up NeoOffice for "full" French usage including menu localizations, and dictionaries. They also wondered if they needed to download a patch, given that 2.1 was new.
The conversation has continued to discuss the merits of installing 2.1 "over" 2.0 or to uninstall 2.0 before installing 2.1. Jacqueline's last post listed the files to be trashed to uninstall 2.0, including the preferences file. I added a caution that customized templates, autotexts, customized toolbars, and key-commands are in the preferences file and will be lost if trashed. |

Many Thanks,
And thank you for ... humoring us poor "language challenged" users.
I really DO appreciate you taking your limited time to ... humor me.

Thanks Lorinda for helping so much in translating and… Thanks Philip for reminding us that it would be more friendly to add a small info in ("rough") English.

Hello
1) do I Have simply to click on INTEL (my processor) without me to trouble owing to the fact that I am currently on the version 2.0 Aqua Beta 3 Patch 15?
2) How to be sure that I charge the French version?
3) will I Have to reload my French dictionaries?
4) After installation, will I have to integrate the last corrective measure whereas this version (2.1) seems very new?
Thank you
Amicalement |
