I run an intel hackintosh and found Rosetta Office 2004 to be woeful, Open Office hideous and clunky and AbiWord is just shocking, really, they should just give it up and go do something else! Shocked

NeoOffice, like Camino, seems to integrate with the window manager in OSX neatly. I get clear fonts, smooth scrolling, good input latency and speedy imports/exports of documents.

TBH I wouldn't have thought OpenOffice was this good; its a shame its so hideous. Well not really, else we wouldn't have NeoOffice I guess.

Thanks. Great software, great price!

Thanks for the kind words Smile I didn't think Abi was too horrible, but last time I looked at it there were problems working with fonts correctly. I haven't checked it out in over a year myself so it may be lots better now.

Hope you enjoy Neo and keep an eye out for the patches!

There hasn't been a new Mac version in over a year, despite ongoing releases for Linux and Windows (I tend to think Mac Abi is dead). It's a shame, really, but as we've noticed, there are not programmers beating down the door to help build Mac versions of OSS office suites/software. Sad
