I'm impressed by the effort of your team on the new NeoOffice. It look much much better than before and it makes me really want to switch this time (it is fastest Office suite I've ever used on the Intel Mac platform). I tried to download your office suite many times and tried to adopt it in my daily work but still there's problem in the compatibility problem in Word document. It still can't be 100% compatiblie with my Word files in terms of picture and text positioning. Sometimes I opened some files and the words or pictures moved to strange places and I don't think it's my file's problem since Word 2004 opened it nicely. I know it is hard but if you can really figure it out then I will not hesitate to change at once.
first of all NeoOffice is just a mac port of OpenOffice, they do not have ressources for implementing new general features, for this you should file a feature request at OpenOffice. (theres a wiki article explaining this in detail)
Also, opening .doc documents is difficult to get right because MS keeps the format secret so office suites have to reverse-engineer it, which is long and difficult.
