Might have a bug unless I have a setting wrong. Using a spreadsheet as a gradebook, I have frozen the top two rows for assignments so I can scroll through my students. I use the insert note feature for extraneous information about that assignment. If I hover over 'noted' cells near the freeze line, the popup dialog box and connecting arrow line appear 'under' the frozen cells. If no one else has seen this I will file a bug with 'zilla. _________________ I'm pondering the immortal words of Socrates who said, "I drank what?" |

What do you mean by "under"?
Are the notes hidden by the cells content?

I can't reproduce that bug.
Can you try to move aside or rename your Preferences folder (don't delete it). See this article in NeoWiki.
Then quit and relaunch NeoOffice to see if the problem is still present.

NeoOffice-2.2 is the folder corresponding to NeoOffice 2.2.x. However, when NeoOffice starts, if it doesn't find a NeoOffice-2.2 folder, will attempt to import the contents of the NeoOffice-2.1 folder. You should probably move all folders to the Desktop before re-launching Neo. |

no dice but thanks for all the advice...should I file a bug or is this actually a 'feature' based on the ability to freeze cells? _________________ I'm pondering the immortal words of Socrates who said, "I drank what?" |

Or course, you can file a bug, but please attach a document which presents that problem. I can't reproduce that bug with a Calc document in which I freeze the two first top rows. But I may well have misunderstood something
