I have a few styles I have defined in my default template. When I make a new document, those styles are available, as well as the many styles that are in the standard installation.
If I open an existing document - a Word or Wordperfect document, for instance - I will have the many styles that are in the standard installation, but not mine, which are the very styles I want to use. The only thing I have been able to figure out is to, each time, manually load my styles into every such document.
Is there a way for my custom styles to always be available, in every document?
On the same note, is there a way to delete (or at least demote) some of the standard styles that I do not use?
Finally, is there a way to keep my preferences synchronized between two computers?
Thanks, but unless I am missing something fundamental in those documents, they tell me what I already know, i.e. how to make a template that contains styles, how to make it a default template so that all new documents contain those styles.
The problem I have is that the styles in my default template are not available to imported documents unless I load the styles manually. I am hoping there is a better way.
