Since I don't use a standalone e-mail client but always access my Gmail via my web browser, I'd rather have Neooffice send e-mail that way than to launch Mail.app. Under Preferences > Internet > E-mail, I tried setting my e-mail program to Google Notifier, but nothing happens when I use the e-mail options under File > Send.

Is there some other way to get Neooffice and Google Notifier to cooperate?

There is some information about this on NeoWiki. It looks as though Google Notifier does not support the required commands - though this functionality might be achieved via a plugin.
