Is it possible to get Writer to align text to the bottom of a box? So text appears along bottom of box and then if it wraps it moves the text upwards leaving base-line where it is?
This is how the Footer area works, but seems to be hard-wired in the Footer rather than caused by a style choice. Doesn't appear that you can set any other text area to be like this.
You can get this effect by inserting a graphic object (e.g. rectangle with no border or fill) and set the anchor point to bottom left. But if you do this you can't insert 'field' values such as page numbers...
But would value confirmation of this not being possible if that's best I can get...
Insert a single cell table in that box, adjust cell dimensions to the box, choose the vertical alignment you need inside that cell, change 2 as character dimension for the box paragraph.
