hi
not totally sure on the current mirror situation but would it b worth trying for example the uk mirror service - i honestly dont kno too much about how such things work in general but it seems they only want a recommendation and they'll look into a site/project. (its academic; they ask: "Why do you think this site is appropriate for academic mirroring in the UK?". I'm a UK student so i'll apply if its worth it)???
as i say i dont kno too much about how all this works but i'd b happy to try w/ u guys' blessing?

Dude, all this stuff is LGPL/GPL. You don't need to ask any kind of permission to set up a mirror, as long as it has a source code tarball on it along with the programs. There's a Neo/J tarball, and I can make one for neo if you'd rather not futz around with CVS
