In MS Office X ( Excel ), typing a few characters in a cell brings up a list of items that match the characters the user has already typed in. This often decreases keystrokes for the user and is a very convenient feature.

There's not a menu, but Calc does include an autocomplete feature. I think it's on by default, but if for some reason it's not, you can use this as a guide for re-enabling it. You can use tab/shift-tab to cycle through possible matches inline.

Thanks. The autocomplete feature was turned on by default but wasn't working. Toggling the feature OFF and then back ON again seemed to activate it.
