|
Hello,
I'm searching for the owner of the logo. In the wiki I found ed at dashboardbuddha dot com
I wrote him a note but receive no answer.
I would like to use the logo for our kindergarden, so please can someone take me to the right direction?
Best regards

The logo was created by a volunteer named Dan Bennett. He owns copyright to the image. However, since he released the image under the GNU Public License (GPL), you can use the image as long as you comply with that license. It is how we are allowed to use the image on our website and within NeoOffice.
Please note, however, that the word "NeoOffice" is a trademark so usage of that trademark has more restrictions than the ship image.

BTW, what's the story behind the ship image? It seems to be an odd choice for an Office suite icon?

I intend to get this in the wiki one day, but until then it's easier to just upload what I had started writing years ago. If you're using a browser that supports the "cite" attribute, you can jump right to the trinity post that the quote is from....
(Besides, I've already done enough wiki editing for one weekend )
