Formatting ausschalten! DRINGEND

Guten Tag,

ich versuche seit langem das Programme davon abzuhalten, Wörter für mich weiter schreiben zu wollen.
Ich habe schon alle Write aids ausgeschaltet und weiter will das Programn besser wissen als ich, was ich schreiben will!
Wie kann ich diese Funktion einmal für alle mal ausschalten???? Mich irritiert es ungemein!

Ausserdem, weiss ich nicht, wie ich die automatische Formattierung geschriebene web oder email adresse abschalten kann. Die Dokumente werden gedrückt und dieses blau + underline ist wirklich hässlich!

What you are seeing is NeoOffice's "autocorrect" features. You can turn off these features by selecting Tools :: AutoCorrect menu and click on the Options tab. Uncheck the autocorrect options that you want to turn off and press the OK button.

Do these steps stop the autocorrection feature on your machine?

I don't read German well enough to know if the article is up to date. It has been a long time since we have had someone able to edit the German wiki.

To translate the OP: he wants to turn off the autocomplete and the automatic blue & underlining of links and e-mail adresse. These two features irritate him a lot..

Bilbo, I suggest writing in English here, and also not saying this is DRINGEND, because it is annoying and not lifethreatening.

sorry, to write in German last time, dear people!
I am not german myself, I am french... But living in Germany for many years and speaking constantly in foreign languages, I tend to forget which one I am using.

Yes, the autocomplete is stressing me a lot, also this automatic underlining and basically most of the automatic formating stuff. I did unchecked all boxes I could but still, formats change when I delete one row and many annyoing stuff like that.

I deleted word because it was crashing constantly and I didn't like it much anyway (because of all these automatic formatting fonctions...), but I cannot tell, I would be delighted with neo...

That's why I am here, to hope to know the software better and so go around the fact that it is not an intuitive software. And the using manual is really confusing. Today I spend an hour to find out how to get numbers - normal page numbers, nothing fancy - I only found how to put them page by page... might be very usefull, but in my case simply time consuming.

a lot in one message, I know. To get read of the autocompletion would be already a great help!

I was always trying to get rid of autocompletion with the writing aids, that was the mistake. Here I could also get rid of the underlines of URLs.

Bilboberlin, perhaps you can read the instructions in French or English and then log in and revise the instructions in German so that other German speakers may benefit from what you have learned.
