I have a database which was imported from Excel. I believe that I was able to edit the records in the database; however I can't now.
I insert new records from via a form so that is now problem. I can also edit records using a form although it is clumsy if I want to edit several records.
I thought creating a form using the datasheet would help. However, the data font is white on a light gray background -- which is quite unreadable. How do I (a) change the color of the font and (b) change the color of the background?
I'm confused. Do you have a database or a spreadsheet with rows of data?
If it is the latter, the inserting of probably done through a macro, which may not translate too well from MS VBA.
As for the colours, aren't there a buttons in your toolbar? If not, go to menu::format::character (I think this is it, I am using a translated version).
Good luck,
