I've seen this somewhere in the forum, but for the life of me I can't find it.

What I've got is a document stuck in the recovery window. It does not exist any more. Every time Neo starts, it wants to recover the doc like it's supposed to do. But there's nothing to recover, and I can't get rid of the file recovery menu.

I know this has to do with a secret file somewhere. Anybody know where that sucker is, and how I tell Neo to never mind recovering that one?

In this case I think pressing the Cancel button in the recovery dialog should stop the recovery dialog from appearing. Then press the Yes button in the next dialog that appears.

If that does not work, or there is no Cancel button in the dialog, can you try pressing the Escape key when the recovery dialog appears?

Do either of these steps stop the recovery dialog from appearing?

I think that if you click Cancel when asked if you want to recover the document, that should sort it for you.

See this thread

(Huh! Fran just beat me on the draw! Wink)

Great. Thanks for letting us know that worked for you

I wonder if you were thinking of removing stuck lock files?
