|
I've created a gift certificate in NeoOffice and I formatted the page to add a border around the document. However, when I print, the border doesn't print. How can I get the border to print? |

Please could you supply a bit more information. Which version of NeoOffice are you using? Is it a Write document or a Draw document? What did you do to create the border? Better still, can you attach a sample document which shows the problem. _________________ MacBook Pro

I'm using version 3.0 patch 7. I created it in 'Write' and I added the border using Format-Page-Borders. I've attached a sample. Thanks! |

OK the document you attached didn't have any borders showing.
To add borders, choose Format::Page… and click the Borders tab. Select the line thickness and colour you want in the centre section, and in the left hand section of the pane select your preferred Line Arrangment. The second from the left of the five Default options available is a border right round the page.
I am attaching a with borders version of your gift certificate. _________________ MacBook Pro

I guess I didn't make the line arrangement selection, however, when I did a page preview on my document, it showed a blue border around the very edge of the document, which is why I thought I had done it correctly. Thanks for your help! |

That's OK, I'm glad to have helped. I think the blue line you were seeing was the indication of the page margins in your document. _________________ MacBook Pro
