I keep being auto-asked to upgrade to 3.0.1p2 but already am running EA3.0.1p2. Is there a difference and should I redownload/upgrade to keep pace with changes happening?
There are differences between those two patch levels. Specifically, the main difference is that the NeoOffice 3.0.1 free release had a fixes for a couple crashing bugs that were reported after NeoOffice 3.0.1 Early Access Patch 2 was released. After NeoOffice 3.0.1 was released, a few more crashing and Snow Leopard bugs were reported and we fixed those in NeoOffice 3.0.1 Patch 2.
Since all of these differences fix stability issues, I recommend that you install NeoOffice 3.0.1 and then install Patch 2 when it is convenient for you. Alternatively, you can wait until 29 December 2009 and download NeoOffice 3.0.2 Early Access. NeoOffice 3.0.2 Early Access will have all of the bug fixes that are in NeoOffice 3.0.1 Patch 2 plus these new features.
