HI!
The average user rides again!
I have once more a basic problem, but a annoying one. In MS WORD it's quite easy to mask the first page of a document, for example, a title page. As an accasionnal student, I need to start page marking at page 2. But, after an hour of fumbling, I quit! It must be a footer function, but I still did'nt got it. Someone please help! The only solution is to open my finished documents with MS Word to get that function, but MS Word is so full of.....bugs, that I prefer not to use it.
I think that you hide page numbering on the first page by doing the following steps:
1. Remove the Page Number field from your header and footer. Note that this will remove the field from all pages but this is needed for the next step:
2. Follow the steps in the "How to Set a Page other than the First page as Page Number 1" section of this NeoWiki article. In your case, you will need to set the starting page number to "2" instead of "1" but the rest of the instructions should require no changes.
