After installing Neooffice 3.0.2 patch 1, I noticed problems adjusting left margins and changing paragraph text justification. I noticed these problems when working on a .doc file. I copied and pasted the formatted text to Text Edit and from there coped the plain text to a new .odt file but had the same problems.

When I reinstalled NeoOffice 3.0.2 Patch 0, I no longer had the text formatting problems.

My info:
Mac Pro 2 x 3 GHz Quad-Core (Early 2008)
Mac OS 10.6.2
NeoOffice 3.0.2 patch 0 (currently)

Can you provide a bit more specificity about the exact problems you encountered and the exact editing steps you used and attach a sample document to this forum topic using the steps in this forum post?

Smokey

One other question: a user in this forum topic found that they encountered a similar problem with the tab bar. Although we have not been able to reproduce this problem, they found that switching to another application and then back to NeoOffice stopped the problem.

Does this same workaround work for you? If not, then we would definitely like to a sample document so that we can reproduce this problem on our machines.

Today I encountered similar problems on my machine while fixing bug 3592. After fix that bug, which also appeared in Patch 1, I have not yet seen any of the problems reoccur so I am hoping that the fix for that other bug also fixes your problem.

Can you install the following test patch and tell us if the fix for that other bug also fixes your problem?:

Intel:

PowerPC:

FYI. I have included the fix for that other bug in NeoOffice 3.0.2 Patch 2.

The patch can be downloaded from the NeoOffice patch download page.

Please let us know if your problem is still not fixed in NeoOffice 3.0.2 Patch 2.
