Yes. As shown in a screen snapshot of the Finder on my machine, what I normally do is quit NeoOffice and then go to the Finder, navigate to the /Application folder, and rename NeoOffice to something like NeoOffice-3.2.1 or NeoOffice-3.3_Beta. Then I can install a newer version and it will be installed as NeoOffice in the same folder.
After doing the above, the patch installer for each version will find and update only the respective version that the patch installer is applicable to.
Also, to open a document in a specific version, you can drag the document onto the specific NeoOffice version in the Finder or you can right-click or Command-click on a document and in the popup menu that appears, select a specific NeoOffice version from the Open With menu. Note, however, that you can only run one version of NeoOffice at a time.
