I admit that I am very happy that we are finally rid of using Java for windows, menus, and printing. Not only did Java slow down NeoOffice drawing speed, Apple has promised to remove it from future versions of Mac OS X so it was clear that it was definitely time to "de-Javafy" our code.

This speed increase was my favorite feature of Beta 1, too
