In the crash logs that we have received from Apple, we have seen crashes in Apple's native menubar code when menu shortcut keys are pressed.

We think that we have fixed this bug by delaying any changes to the menubar while Apple's native menubar code is handling menu shortcut key events.

You do not need to wait until the next NeoOffice release to get the fix. You can get the fix now by downloading and installing the following test patch:
