While using NeoOffice in Dark Mode, we found that copying text from a Writer comment would be pasted as black when pasted into any Writer comments. While NeoOffice's custom code displays text in Writer comments as white by default when in Dark Mode, we found the underlying OpenOffice code that explicitly changes the "automatic" color - which is the default color for Writer comments - to black when copying from a Writer comment.
We have fixed this OpenOffice bug by preserving the "automatic" color when copying text from a Writer comment and you do not need to wait until the next NeoOffice release to get the fix. You can get the fix now by downloading and installing the following test patch:
