While investigating a bug report, we found the following problems when using mail merge in NeoOfffice 2022:
  • NeoOffice would unexpectedly quit when transitioning between some of the panels in the Mail Merge Wizard
  • NeoOffice would fail to save merge results
  • NeoOffice would fail to connect to a valid SMTP account via TLS or SSL
We have fixed these bugs by backporting several LibreOffice patches. You do not need to wait until the next NeoOffice 2022 release to get the fixes. You can get the fixes now by downloading and installing the following test patch.

Important note for Mac App Store users: E-mailing merge results is only available in NeoOffice 2022 Professional Edition. It is not available in the Mac App Store version because this feature requires Python:
