After we posted our previous test patch, we have been carefully reviewing the underlying LibreOffice accessibility code to see if we could find any more potential crashing and hanging bugs. NeoOffice uses multithreaded event dispatching and so our code needs to handle potentiallly invalid or deleted C++ pointers.

We found a few crashing and hanging bugs due to invalid or deleted C++ pointers that we missed in previous reviews of the code. Also, we noticed a bug that causes VoiceOver to only set the mouse rectangle to the window border when opening Calc documents. This mouse rectangle bug was a particularly vexing asynchronous timing bug.

We have fixed these bugs and you do not need to wait until the next NeoOffice release to get these fixes. You can get these fixes now by downloading and installing one of the following test patches:
