I have a body of work from my PC days done in MS Word. I am new to the Mac as well as OO, so here goes.
I want to change the page style on an existing document to allow for a header beginning on page 2. This is not a new topic, I'll wager. When I try to follow advice from the help area, it doesn't work. i.e. F11 doesn't bring up Stylist, it clears my screen of all windows. When I double-click the First Page Style, it does nothing. Other advice is just as faulty. Can anyone help me resolve this problem or point me to a source of info re: OO and the Mac? Thanks.

I am using one of eric's iterations of OOo 2.0.
This Icon is not on any of the toolbars.
A quick search through Customize -> Add does not reveal this icon.

What does it represent?

Since you are working with OpenOffice 2.0, you will have to do the following:

Select Insert, Header and then select First Page (I know it does not make sense, but this is what you have to do.) This will display headers starting on Page 2 and further. BTW, I had to figure out what to do myself before answering this question. You have to do the same for footers, the only change is to select footer instead of header in the menu.
