First I would like to thank Pavel Janik for posting his thoughts on his blog:

http://blog.janik.cz

In an entry dated December 24th, it appears that Pavel has been very busy building a Universal Binary version of OpenOffice.org 2.0.1 (aka m147). He reports a successful build with one minor issue that should be resolved with the next milestone (M148) release of the OpenOffice 2.0 sources.

It looks like there maybe a UB release of OpenOffice 2.0 with the release of the .2 version sometime in late February/early March.

that is great news. haven't seen any word on whether there will be two releases (mactel and PPC) or one universal binary (size permitting), so that will be interesting to see.
