Just installed Neo on eMac but don't see a Database program. Did I miss something? Do I need X11 to do databases? Thanks. |

Linus, NeoOffice 1.2 beta is based on OpenOffice.org 1.1.5. Version 1.1.5 did not have the New Database application included.
OpenOffice.org 2.0 was the first version to have the database application added and NeoOffice won't be based on that until ... later, depending on resources. There is a LOT of work to upgrade the OOo base and limited funds/resources. (include hint that donations are accepted here )
If you must have the new database application then you need to consider using OOo 2.0 with X11.
Me, I'm staying with the better Mac interface using NeoOffice and will wait for NeoOffice 2.0....
Philip (perfers NeoOffice over OOo/X11 ) |

Topic moved to NeoOffice Support. This is a question about Neo, not OpenOffice.org.
Topic locked on OpenOffice.org X11 support.
