|
I found some issue about formar of Date on calc.
Version 0.7.1 patch-1
OS:Mac OS10.3.2
Mac:Powerbook G4 400
For example,'2004/1/1'(means Jan.1.2004) converts
to 'GGGD/M/D' format in Japanese configulation,
GGG (in Japanese 'Gengou') comes 'Meiji',it's wrong.
Someone please tell me how to calculate Gengou. |

NeoOffice/J is based on the OpenOffice.org 1.0.3 code and I verified that this is a bug in OpenOffice.org 1.0.3.
The good news is that OpenOffice.org 1.1 fixed this bug and 1//1/2004 (English) becomes H16.01.01 (Japanese) as expected.
The bad news is that it will be several months before NeoOffice/J switches to the OpenOffice.org 1.1 code.

Dear Patrick,
Is it mean that NeoJ0.7.1 is based on Ooo1.1 without
'Gengo' issue ?
Or not, when will you update NeoJ or make patch for this
issue ? |

What this means is that OOo 1.0.3 has the "gengou" bug. NeoOffice/J is based on OOo 1.0.3 so it has the same bug.
OOo 1.1 does not have this bug. However, since OOo 1.1 is not has not been released on Mac OS X, I have no plans to upgrade NeoOffice/J to OOo 1.1.
