Remember, though, Yogi prefers Rainier. Made in America baby, in the odd base count of your choosing. Try finding that in metric can counts.

Hmm...although a close frieind of mine lectured me any joke that needs explaining isn't funny...
Canada has brought us hockey, great beer, and Corel. Well, ignoring the latter, beer comes in 6 packs, 12 packs, cases, etc.
But Canada has Quebec. While I could forgive them Quebec (since really, French colonization wasn't their fault)
They have the metric system.
Damn you metric system and your easy-to-understand powers of 10. It does nothing but dumb-down the world!
The wisdom of the Sumerians and the Mayans has taught us that base 10 is not the way. We must live in base 60 or, since zero is too Arabic for our modern tastes, base 6. After all, even "fit" persona have a "6 pack", not a "10 pack".
The metric system is rubbish.
Now is the time to claim fielty to the 6 pack, 12 pack, and 24 pack. Base 10 has been forced upon you by leftists.

/sarcasm
//wonders why the Mayans didn't use primes
///base 6 goodness brings you "the real deal", so why fight it? |

So all the EAP money is channeled through mexican banks (by nobody less than G. Gordon Liddy) & goes right into a secret hush money fund for clandestine operations against the opposition? I always expected so. Gives the word "bug" a completely new meaning ... |

... you would have someone, who knows how to spin things:
Ben Stein wrote: | Nixon was a peacemaker. He was a lying, conniving, covering-up peacemaker. He was not a lying, conniving drug addict like JFK, a lying, conniving war-starter like LBJ, a lying, conniving seducer like Clinton—a lying, conniving peacemaker. |

/me is thoroughly confused...not only by the recent posts themselves, but by why they're in this (sticky, er, announcement) thread.

I think it's more a sign that we no longer really care and we've regressed into a series of jokes and offtopic banter

Hi all,
Some good news after OOoCon in Lyon: the Norwegian OOo Native Language project has put back a link to the Norwegian NeoOffice pages... They had one with a paragraph telling about NeoO, but it was removed after the policy decision...
It seems that they decided to put it back after OOoCon - I spotted it today... It does only says "Also check out NeoOffice", but it's a step in the right direction, right???
