Hey gang,

From time to time, I have to wrangle a bunch of lists on Neo's Writer component (and similarly in OOo when I'm not on a Mac.) When editing inside a list in OOo on my Linux box (or even Windows), the bullets and numbering toolbar appears as a floating toolbar, which is handy for shuffling points and subpoints in lists; the toolbar then disappears when I move outside the list. This context-sensitive behaviour is one of my favourite OOo quirks. AFAIK, this floating toolbar doesn't appear/disappear in Neo. So my question is:

- Is there any way to enable this behaviour in Neo? Failing that;

- What's the best way to persistently add parts of the bullets/numbering toolbar to Neo for those times that I do end up in a list o' lists?

Ian

(yeah, I should really just bind some of those bullet/numbering commands to keys)

Well, I'm not sure wehre the setting is but the bullets and numbering toolbar appears me in my Neo 2.0 build when I start creating a bulleted list. If it's not appearing for you there must be some setting that's preventing it from popping up. Note, however, it won't open up in a floating window if last time you were using the toolbar you docked the toolbar, so something may be corrupted in your user preferences.

You may also want to check that you haven't accidentally deleted the bullets and numbering toolbar in Tools > Customize > Toolbar.

Yeah, I think that something may have gotten corrupted along the way. After torching my preferences (not really a big deal; I change all of a dozen settings) and setting the bullets/numbering toolbar to visible, it's behaving as it should again. Thanks!
