I've just read the French invitation from end to end and noticed a few typos/mistakes. Not sure what I should do about it; post them here so that they can be corrected ?

Also, once I get some feedback from jake and/or contributors to the French wiki, I should be able to find some time to translate the NeoOffice 2.0 feature comparison page into French : perhaps the new link could be incroporated in the updated invitation PDF if you decide to release one ?

Both English & French invitation documents were largely compiled from other sources, including the Neo wiki pages. The whole task from blank pages to despatched invitations in both languages was achieved in under 10 hours from when the decision was taken to create the event.

(Sorry if there are typos and you're welcome to advise me of them via pm and I'll share them with my French mother tongue colleagues who assisted in the preparations. Posting them here may only trigger a discussion on symantics...)

However, much more important at this stage to our preparations, I would encourage you to work exclusively on advancing the translation of the French wiki pages as these will serve directly our immediate needs for accurate up-to-date information to be available online.

Thanks, in advance, for this support.

I'm jealous. I use NeoOffice. I speak German, my wife speaks French, and I'm an Eagle Scout and former Scoutmaster (Boy Scouts of America).

But I lack the means to leave my home of Atlanta, Georgia, and visit you in Switzerland.

Best wishes to you all.

My microcassette recorder is on the way to me from my parents, so hopefully I can record something to share Smile Dunno if we'll have the ability for folks to video iChat in either, I guess we'll see the bandwidth we have and play it by ear.

Depending on where the future takes us, I hope we can have US-based events in the years to come Very Happy
