Please add Apple Spelling Service support as an alternative Writing Aid for NeoOffice.
Tecnically, OOo supports multiple lingucomponents and Apple Spelling Service API is public.

Please donate enough money so that Patrick can support his wife and kids while adding that support, or contribute the fix yourself..

It's not the first time I read about Patrick's kids, and I think I even mentioned them somewhere Embarassed

But, I've learned at OOoCon that Patrick and his wife don't have children (unless I misunderstood them) ...

What kind of time investment would be necessary to learn the code organization well enough to be able to be of material help? I'd like to be able to contribute code and help with debugging, but the description of this code base is daunting to say the least. Does Neo's code work with XCode, or are you stuck with C/C++?

At any rate, it'll be next spring before I have the equipment with the necessary resources. Planning on an iMac dual Core Duo with 2GB RAM and a washtub-sized HD. What can I start reading on? No promises, understand, but I'll take a look.

Would it count if I wrote a "K'plah, World" program in C++?
