Hi,
Just like to report a minor bug. Minor because I guess not many people (including myself) use full-screen mode. In any case, it's not really full-screen either, just a maximized window.

Under Writer, View->Full screen sometimes works fine, but other times display only half the page. I noticed that there appears to be a window redraw operation to redraw the page in the full-screen window, so I guess this operation is not being registered properly at all times.

Also, when full screen is exited and normal window is restored, the menu bar behaves abnormally - the submenu window covers the main menu area, and sometimes clicking on a main menu item automatically causes a submenu item to be selected immediately after the submenu window is drawn.

Calc and Impress appears to work fine though.

I assume that you are using NeoJ 0.8.2. If so, have you installed the latest patch at http://www.planamesa.com/neojava/download.php#install?

Yes, I'm using 0.8.2. I have now applied patch-2 too.

Now the full-screen draws the document okay. But I notice the behaviour is different now. Previously (before patch-2), full-screen mode attempts to maximize the document across the width of the screen. Now, it appears to keep the current zoom, and just remove all GUI elements. Perhaps this is the desired behaviour after all.

But the menu bug still exists.

Are there any error messages when you open /Applications/Utilities/Console? Since the view -> Full Screen works consistently on my machine, I suspect that some error is occurring that messes up all of the window and menu painting.

One more question: does your machine have multiple-monitors? If so, are you experiencing the same type of errors as reported in the following bug?:

Can you download and install "patch-3" (I just posted it this morning). It probably won't fix the full-screen problem, but I am curious if the behavior changes at all.

Apologies for the radio silence.

I've applied patch 3. Looks okay. The menu bug after full screen has not manifested itself.

The behaviour of the full screen mode is the same as post-patch-2, i.e. The window is maximized, GUI miminal, but the text remains the same size.

Can you download "patch-4" (which I just posted) and see if this fixes the redrawing problem?:

Let me know if this patch causes any other problems.
