Hi,

We will in September use OO 1.03 or NeoOffice in our labs. Does anybody have some experience for a common use of NeoOffice ? Is it enough stable ?

Thanks for any answer

Christian,

I think, OO 1.0.3 ist stable enough for productivity use, but NeoOffice can't be used, it's not even a beta.

But may be you should have a look at NeoOffice/J, the Java-based incarnation of OO, it's a pre-1.0, but I think it's stable enough for common use an has an excellent support by the author. Have a look at the NeoOffice/J-support-forum to see existing problems.

I agree with Thomas, I think that Neo/J will suite your needs very well, and is more mac-like than the OO.oX11 versions.

Thanks for your answers. I will ask the same question in the forum about NeoOfficeJ.
