Well, it's the mystery of macs again. The bug that I experienced with both OOo 2.1 X11 and in winxx no longer occurs in X11 (I'll test it in winxx today at work), which was that if I had a Draw doc open and I tried to edit prefs in Tools->Options the whole app would freeze up.

I'll let you know if it turns up in winxx still, because if I understand rightly, your builds no longer come off the X11 code directly, so behaviour in X11 isn't necessarily going to turn up in NeoOffice anyway?

This depends on where it is. If it's a low level drawing bug or event handling bug in X11, then no. However, most all of OOo is not in this low level code and any bugs in that code will show up in Neo as well. If you encountered it in X11, in general there's a strong possibility it will be in Neo since, for the most part, the underlying X11 OS X code is near identical to the same used on Linux and Solaris (which is much more thoroughly tested).

well, I don't know how these things happen, but the crashes I frequently experienced both in winxx and in X11 have both stopped happening.

Having it happen on 2 different platforms (on 2 different computers, now that this is not a given!) seemed too much for coincidence, but there it is.
