We have already talked about this once, but afetr I've read the NO2.1 Release Tasks in our wiki, I'd like to know if there is any chace to have the italian linguistic tools (dictonary and thesaurus) included in the next realise of NeoOffice.
These tools are not present in OOo because of license problems. . Now this seems to be resolved (have a look here ).

Eventually the most recent version of the dictionary and thesaurus are downloadable form http://downloads.sourceforge.net/linguistico/it_IT-OOo2-pack_1_1_beta_2007_01_07.zip?modtime=1168169099&big_mirror=0

Sorry, but NeoOffice 2.1 and its language packs are only going to contain the spellcheckers and thesauri that ship with the official OOo 2.1 builds. Due to the immense amount of time it takes to prepare a Neo release (see my imcomplete list of release steps here), Ed and I have frozen the code and we are only making changes to a few items that we planned on doing.

I've seen that one of your task is
Code:
Get latest version of DicOOo.sxw and FontOOo.sxw files, replace all references to the Control key with the Command key, and commit files in etc/share/dict/ooo.

Are yuo also going to repalce OpenOffice.org occurrencies to NeoOffice? I've seen that this is a bit harder since not all OpenOffice.org occurrency has to be replaced with NeoOffice. Anyway, it's just a curiosity, I've done it for me in the italian version in DicOOo.sxw 1.7 just to "lost" some time. Embarassed

Just to inform you in case you haven't noticed this, but in both dicooo.sxw and fontooo.sxw (both with the new 1.7 version) buttons "start dicooo" and "start fontooo" have the text not centered.
Actually I do not have the possibility to test it with OOo/X11 or with windows/linux version.

Thanks for reminding me to do this. I have updated the NeoWiki page to include all the steps I used this morning to update these files.

This also occurs in OOo X11 as well. Since the text is centered with both Neo 2.1 and OOo X11 2.1 when I use version 1.6.2 of DicOOo, it is clear that DicOOo has a bug.

Also, FontOOo has apparently had a bug for at least a couple of versions. If you cancel before you retrieve a list of fonts, you will get a Basic runtime error when FontOOo tries to delete a file that it has not yet created.
