I have just installed v2.1 EA which looks great. But I seem to be unable to get my macros working which had been set up in v2.0 to switch between languages. I also noticed that there seem to be several redraws happening in the macro organizer when you want to access/edit macros.

Do you know if the macros still work in OOo 2.1 X11 or on Windows? The macro changes we incorporated into 2.1 EA mostly affected Calc but it very well may be an unrelated Mac-specfic ooo-build issue we need to fix.

I haven't had a chance yet to test this properly. But it seems that the actual macros accessed through the organiser can be run, just the keyboard shortcuts do not work. I will set the macros up again from scratch and see whether they work then.

I have a similar problem. I tested the macro package and it doesn't work in openoffice 2.1 or Neooffice 2.1. Openoffice crashes into oblivion, whereas NeoO just gives an basic error message that it can't load the macro. The macro is this one: http://www.paolo-mantovani.org/downloads/TextToColumns/

Both OOo and NeoO 2.0 run this okay. Incidentally, if I am parsing several hundred to thousands of lines, Neo crawls, whereas openoffice does it relatively fast. I have no idea why, and its not really relevant here, but since I'm posting... Smile

I am terribly busy right now and have not yet been able to test this further, but I can run the macros directly, i.e. not from keyboard shortcuts. Don't know why they may not have transfer to the new preference settings.

I lost most if not all of my customized keyboard shortcuts when I moved from Neo 2.0 AB3 to Neo 2.1 EA. IIRC, Patrick said it was related to what preferences OOo 2.1 did bother to copy over.
