In OpenOffice 2.3, a new version of Chart, aptly titled "Chart 2," will be introduced. As per their website, it promises an entirely new wizard and enhanced settings/features across the board (and new colors to boot!).
As this is an update to the OOo base, I don't know if it would require funding to incorporate, or if it's simply part of maintaining Neo, but I thought I'd toss it out there anyway.

Yes, for a feature like this we probably would update the entire Neo source base. While I can't answer for Patrick, I think this would fall more under our traditional EAP system and not really as a "new feature". This will happen at some point in the future, most likely not until after OOo 2.3 itself has been released.
