As a Chemistry & Physics teacher, having keyboard shortcuts for entering superscripts and subscripts is really crucial for quickly typing in formulas and equations.

I hope that these shortcuts will soon be available!

They may well already exist (sorry, not at my mac right now) - in OpenOffice pc, they are ctrl-shift-p and ctrl-shift-b for superscript and subscript respectively.

To see whether NeoOffice already has shortcuts assigned, go to Tools->Customize in the menu, then choose the Keyboard tab. In the bottom left panel, click on Format, and then in the one to its right, scroll down to Superscript and Subscript - it will show you what shortcuts are assigned to these, if any, and if there aren't any (or you want to change them to something else) then this is the place to do it. It will default to adding/changing them for the module you're in at the time (writer, calc, etc.) so if you want to make a NeoOffic-global change or addition, you have to change the assignment in the top-right part of the panel to NeoOffice before selecting the options at the bottom.

I'm going to move this thread to the Support forum, as it's not really a New Feature Request.

Yes, they really exist: Cmd-Shift-P and Cmd-Shift-B.
