Hello,

I want to export an Powerpoint file that I loaded into Impress. I would like to export the 80+ slides as individual JPEG (or other bitmap) format.

Is there some automated way of doing this?

Thanks,

Mike

Select all of the slides and than select Export To from the File Menu should do the trick.. Unless I have forgotten something. Check you export settings carefully.

Best wishes,
Oscar

Hello,

I did try that but when I did the export, only the first slide got saved. Don't know if this is a bug, but even in the options there were no setting for multiple saves.

Thanks,

MikeM.

Batch export works only for .pdf, html, and flash (.swf)

To get individual jpegs utilize the wizard controls with the HTML export and you'll get each page as a jpeg for your entire slide show.

You do not have to select all the slides either.

If you select Export -> file format: HTML; the Wizard appears; New Design; select next; Standard html format: no options selected; next; select Jpeg or png and resolution: next; no text or button selections; next; no background selections made; and select create

You'll end up with individually numbered jpeg files and simple html pages you navigate through.

**BTW: It's not a bug.

What a great tip, thanks! I added it to our "New Articles Needed" page of the wiki.
