macro and keys

I was trying to test neooffice with a large spreadsheet I usually work with openoffice 1.1.2
Neooffice open the file without the problem, but I have trouble with macros and keys: I asked neooffice to use some keys to start macros, but when I push the keys the macros won't start. Nothing happpen. But the major problem is that, if I try to start the macro using the mouse and the macro menu, the macro does not work anyway, giving me various error in basic (runtime error, variable not defined).

Is the neooffice macro language different from openoffice 1.1.2?

there is not any keys problem: it was a personal mistake (I assigned key to macro for 'write' program, not to 'calc' one).

the macro problem is still there anyway. any openoffice macro give me error about not defined variables.

NeoJ is based on OpenOffice.org 1.0.3. Since Sun's engineer did enhance/change the macro language in OOo 1.1.2, many macros wrtten in OOo 1.1.2 must be rewritten to work in OOo 1.0.3 or NeoJ.
