hi,
I was trying to tune up OOo on my mac os x following Marc Liyanage tips (http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/docs/openoffice-mac/) but I got stuck at the beginning of the extendedPDF installation process since I can't manage to install a new printer using spadmin: at the end of the process i click finish and the button goes blank and the windows stop responding so that I can only force X11 to quit.
anyone having the same problem?
workarounds?

I'm a little groggy at the moment, but I don't see where creating a new printer is needed at all to install extendedPDF. Just open the document with the macro and follow its instructions. Then follow Marc's instructions for setting the temp .ps file location and passing the temp .ps to either GhostScript or Acrobat. I installed it with no problems.
