Since the number of new bugs being filed against the Neo/J 1.1 Alpha 1 release is very small, I am going to release an "Alpha 2" release sometime next week.

"Alpha 2" will consist of "Alpha 1" plus the latest patch so if you have installed the latest patches, so won't need to download "Alpha 2". The big difference between "Alpha 2" and "Alpha 1" is that I will post "Alpha 2" on the Neo/J download site at http://www.planamesa.com/neojava/.

One request that I have is for help translating some new text from English to Japanese. The Japanese download pages are mostly in Japanese, but I haven't had an active volunteer to translate these pages. So, if you can translate English to Japanese - even if Japanese is not your primary language - then please send me an e-mail at patrick dot luby at planamesa dot com.

Just so's I've got this clear:

If I've got alpha 1 with patch 5, that'll be the same as alpha 2 - then if you release patches for alpha 2, I can apply them to my version as if I had alpha 2 installed?

I know this might be obvious, but it's early saturday morning here...

Sorry if this is over-pedantic, but the current 'release date' on this forum's downloads page for the Neo/J alpha 2 (30th August) is the same as the 'release date' used to be for the alpha 1. This might confuse the easily confused - wasn't alpha 2 actually released somewhere around 17th September?

Unfortunately, I don't think this is an editable field. I think it is the date that I created the entry in the Trinity admin screens. Sad
