Does anyone know if a feature to Arrange All open documents on single window exists on NeoOffice? I've looked under Writer in particular but can't find; but if it doesn't exist, I do think it's a must have, definitely. Same for Split feature aswell, as exists on Word.
The feature you want added is part of NeoOffice's underlying OpenOffice.org code. It is a change that the core OpenOffice.org developers would have to make and is tracked with issue 19291.
My previous post was a bit thin on detail so here's a little more detail.
The feature you want added is part of NeoOffice's underlying OpenOffice.org code. Unfortunately, the current scope of the NeoOffice project is limited by resources to keeping a native version of OpenOffice.org running on Mac OS X and fixing OpenOffice.org feature bugs is outside that scope.
This is in the OpenOffice.org tracker as issue 19291. Add your comments to this issue so the OpenOffice.org developers know it is a feature that many want. If they add the feature, the new behavior will get included in a future release of NeoOffice.
Note: our advice is to not mention NeoOffice as mentioning NeoOffice will likely cause OOo volunteers to preemptively close it without actually confirming that the bug occurs in OOo.
